Robert P. Simpson

Robert P. Simpson, born on Holy Thursday, 1956, is a patent attorney, electrical engineer, chess player and storyteller from Niagara Falls, New York. Mr. Simpson graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology in 1979, and received a law degree from State University of New York at Buffalo in 1987. He has practiced law for more than 30 years, written hundreds of patent applications and 50 short stories. He resides in Williamsville, New York with his wife, Ellen, and his Shelties, Missy and Mia. His wife encouraged (actually begged) him to start telling his stories to others.

About the Illustrator

Frank Mariani

Frank Mariani is an artist, cartoonist, patent illustrator and graphic designer of long experience, based in Tonawanda, New York. He holds a bachelor's degree in fine arts from Daemen College, and a masters degree in fine arts from State University of New York at Buffalo. As a principal at Mariani Design, his work is distributed by Creators syndicate, a major supplier of comics, columns and other features to newspapers. He also serves as a colorist of comic strips for Universal Press syndicate and Washington Post syndicate, Frank and his wife Bonnie organize and manage Lindsay's Legacy 5k Run, a popular annual event in memory of their late daughter to support childhood cancer research.
